A frill runs round the neckline. The shoulders are shirred, so the sleeves start full and stay that way down to frilled cuffs. Below the waist seam the skirt tiers out to midi length, pockets set into the side where you would reach for them. There is a zip at the front from the neck down, and a concealed one at the side seam doing the actual work. Flat boots and bare legs in autumn. Tights and a long coat when it turns. Sleeves pushed up, always.
